Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and the ability to manage kitchen operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure all menu items are prepared according to specifications.
- Prepare and make salads, fry chicken wings, bread shrimp & chicken, etc.
- Manage shift operations, including assigning tasks and monitoring team performance.
- Maintain communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during service promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with a focus on kitchen operations.
- Strong skills in menu planning and food preparation; culinary training is a plus.
- Excellent team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
