Minimum Knowledge and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management / logistics or Finance.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 and ISO 19011 : 2018 standards.Certified Quality Auditor.Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).Expertise in project management, planning, and execution.Proficient in quality auditing tools (, control charts) and methodologies.Proven experience managing quality programs in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable).Skilled in facilitating meetings across all organizational levels in diverse environments.Skills :

Own the QMS and ensure contractual compliance for Procurement and KCS corporate processes.Act as the ISO 9001 subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with standard requirements.Apply lean management principles to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.Collaborate with key managers to enhance the department’s QMS and oversee improvement initiatives.Support the department in building and maintaining risk registers.Ensure compliance with KCS-MBTA contract requirements, including : Workmanship standardsQuality controlConfiguration control plansQuality audit programsDocument controlTool calibration standardsManagement of nonconformancesPerform quality control activities as defined in the QCPM to ensure uniform and traceable execution of critical processes.ISO 9001 Department Quality Roadmap :
Establish and maintain a departmental process map, including key process workflows and interdepartmental connections.Build and maintain a gap assessment to identify and prioritize QMS improvements.Regularly reassess department performance against ISO 9001 and contractual standards using gap assessments, KPIs, and audit outputs.Nonconformance Process and Corrective Action Cycle :
Track corrective actions from audits, nonconformances, and other sources in line with the Quality team tracking process.Collaborate with process owners to perform root cause analysis and identify corrective actions.Ensure timely completion of corrective actions and escalate delays through regular reporting.Update and maintain corrective action reports (CARs) and related KPIs.Internal Audit Program :
Serve as the ISO 9001 subject matter expert for audits, with certification as an Internal Auditor.Conduct internal audits for other departments and lead teams of quality auditors as needed.Identify risk areas for future audits as part of audit planning cycles.Develop and manage the supplier audit plan and monitor supplier audit schedules.Perform supplier audits in collaboration with the Procurement team.Prepare and present audit reports to top management and assist with follow-up audits.Develop internal auditing / testing parameters when necessary.Document Control Management :
Oversee the Document Control process for Procurement and KCS corporation.Ensure department processes and workflows are standardized and documented per company procedures.Manage process changes in alignment with the company’s change management process.Partner with key personnel to maintain audit-ready and compliant documentation.General Responsibilities :
