What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Staff (FT) position at Keowee Key Property Owners Association Inc?
- Check the Lakeview Room calendar to see if any functions are to be held. Set up at the appropriate time.
- Assure all areas are clean and ready for use.
- Perform a weekly dock inspection at all dock locations, document any expired registrations or repairs needed.
- Create/delete member’s fuel keys using the Fuel Master system
- Schedule reservations for picnic shelter.
- Assist in dispensing gas into boats at the Marina gas dock.
- Perform weekend pool maintenance at the North Marina and Southside Community Pool.
- Perform hourly pool inspections at the North Marina to look for glass containers or other issues.
- Complete retail sales using the Point of Sale, billing member accounts and credit card transactions.
- Follow daily preventive maintenance program.
- Complete daily Marina checklist, date and sign by end of shift.
- Assist property owners, when requested, when their boats are disabled on the lake.
- Vehicle and marine vessel driving on behalf of the company, as needed.
- Trailer KKPOA or member’s vessels to and from the boat ramp, Dry Storage, or to local service technician.
- Maintain boat rental calendar and have boats ready at appropriate times.
- Exhibit courteous, pleasant conduct with members and their guests at all times.
- Perform all assigned setup, work area maintenance, cleanup and closedown procedures and duties.
- Act as a team leader to help supervise seasonal staff as directed by the Boating Manager
- Perform any and all other duties as requested by the Boating Manager.
