General Job Description
KEP Electric, a subsidiary of IES Residential is currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to join our team in Louisville, KY.
As a Commercial Electrician, you will service our clients' buildings as needed. You will respond to repair calls and make periodic visits for inspections and preventative maintenance. Your main priority as a Commercial Electrician is to make sure our clients' business is not interrupted by electricity problems. You will also install and repair electrical wiring and a variety of systems, using both power and hand tools to service facilities.
Company Vehicle And Tablet Provided.
Our ideal applicant is already a journeyman electrician and has experience with conduit work.

- Proven experience as a commercial electrician or similar role.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to use electrical and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
