Keres Consulting, Inc. (Keres) is a Native American owned small business that is actively seeking qualified applicants for a Regular Full-Time, Non-Exempt position for the Keres Group of Companies HR Administration.
The position is responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing in multiple states and various payroll related duties. Responsible for HR administrative assistance with employee new hires, benefit renewals and changes, employee evaluations, 401k, and other HR admin related tasks.
Experience in a small business environment; ability to maintain confidentiality, meticulous, able to multitask and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint, QuickBooks and ADP Payroll is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll
- Process bi-weekly payroll in multiple states,
- Processing electronic timesheets and posting labor in Deltek Costpoint and QuickBooks weekly.
- Review and update State unemployment tax rates.
- Update systems with employee information and new project details.
- Petty cash administrator.
Human Resources
- Responsible for Department of Labor reports and various audits; keep updated on the ever changing federal, state, and local labor laws/regulations.
- New hire onboarding, including benefits, policies, new user setup in accounting and time systems.
- Employee maintenance including updating personal information (in payroll and accounting), with benefit providers, HR files, etc.
- Annual and mid-year employee evaluations.
- Employee benefit management including review and reconciliation, renewals, facilitate as needed reviewing options with benefit carriers.
- Supply payroll numbers for annual work comp audit.
General Office
- Oversees office related services and products such as postage machine, copier/printer, reception computer-telephone messages, kitchen supplies, facility maintenance etc.
- Interfaces with facility maintenance such as pest control, window cleaner, and on-site service support
- Update company information and communicate as needed.
