We capture these beliefs in our signature: “Empowering Imagination.” SUMMARY The Real Estate Manager supports the two Kering Senior Real Estate Managers and all Kering Americas’ brands in their retail and corporate real estate development planning and its execution across the region. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE Support the evaluation, selection and negotiation of commercial terms and lease provisions for retail, office, warehouse and showroom openings, closings, relocations, renegotiations, and renewals. Direct select negotiations with landlords, developers, brokers, and lawyers. Partner with Kering brands and corporate retail, store planning, construction, legal and finance teams on site feasibility, lease negotiations, and timing. Responsible for reviewing commercial tenant leases to prepare, analysis, and various leasing / real estate reports for the company. Oversees all aspects of tenant and administrative management of Kering owned and leased property portfolio, which together preserve the operational efficiency of workspaces and optimizes Group performance. Support the team’s management and use of systems, tools, and processes that improve Kering Real Estate’s efficiency to ensure that all Group stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and comprehensive information conducive to informed decision making. Conduct market research to support the continued growth of Kering Americas’ brands in new and existing markets. Identify leasing trends in the industry and maintain an in-depth knowledge of local area competition and real estate market intel. WHO YOU ARE Minimum of five years of relevant experience, working within the Americas region in a real estate role (with a retailer, consulting firm, investment fund, property company or retail brokerage company), with a strong exposure to the US market Experience in working for a fashion retailer or retail owner/operator strongly preferred Comprehensive knowledge of the leasing process including industry terminology, financial modeling, the complete deal process, and the full scope of lease negotiation Ability to work in a fast-paced, work environment requiring the ability to easily adapt to change and work effectively to find solutions on their own Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills a must Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required MBA or Law degree a plus Strong proficiency of PowerPoint and Excel required Knowledge of database management systems Intermittent domestic and international travel to required market areas from time to time Real estate brokerage license is a plus Job Type Regular Start Date 2022-05-16 Schedule Full time Organization Kering Americas Inc.
