The Benefits Analyst plays a vital role in developing, implementing, and administering employee benefits programs within the organization. Responsibilities will include overseeing various aspects of employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries and needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field and 1 year of experience in employee benefits administration, or an equivalent combination of education or experience sufficient to obtain the skills to successfully perform the job.
Ability to: multi-task in an interrupt-driven environment and complete projects on a timely basis. Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates ability to respect and maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive documents, records, discussions, and other information generated in connection with activities conducted in, or related to, employee information and make no disclosure of such information. Maintain effective working relationships, demonstrated competence in customer service skills and professional telephone demeanor; present oneself professionally.
Knowledge of: Employment laws, regulations, payroll, and complex payroll reporting systems, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities will include overseeing various aspects of employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries and needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, and other fringe benefits.
- Coordinate with benefit providers, insurers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain updated records of employee benefit elections, eligibility status, and related documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Assist employees with understanding benefit options, eligibility criteria, coverage details, and enrollment processes.
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and provide ongoing education and communication regarding changes or updates to benefits programs.
- Assist with the initial worker’s compensation documentation.
- Assist with safety rewards tracking, monthly safety topics and facility monthly walkthroughs.
- Coordinate employee benefit payroll changes when necessary and maintain back-up documentation.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
