Position Details
The Plant Operations Office Assistant will provide organizational, receptionist and clerical support to the department, and supports the manager to ensure an efficient, well-organized department. Communicates information accurately in a pleasant and efficient manner to a variety of people, including, but not limited to the maintenance department, administration, outside entities, and other departments as needed. Carries out all aspects of the job using good judgment and problem-solving skills. Assists manager with maintaining regulatory agency requirements, as well as department policies and procedures. Assures supplies and equipment are readily available and properly stored.
High school graduate or equivalent, with knowledge and experience in maintenance and/or construction office preferred. Must have strong clerical, administrative and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff and the general public. Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and EXCEL spreadsheet programs required.
