Kernen Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll/AP/AR Office Assistant to join our team. Key responsibilities include assisting accounting department with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general administrative duties.
Payroll
Experience processing certified payroll/prevailing wage necessary. Process weekly payroll for less than 100 employee using construction management software and accurately input some manual timecards.
Accounts Payable Support
Receiving, reviewing, and organizing vendor invoices
Matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring accuracy
Enter invoice data into accounting system
Help prepare payments
Maintain accurate records of payments and vendor files
Account Receivable Support
Assist in preparing and sending customer invoices
Enter incoming payments into accounting system
Help monitor outstanding balances and follow upon overdue accounts
Provide support in resolving customer billing inquiries
Preform other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications include 1 years of previous office experience, a basic understanding of accounting, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
This position is Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5pm with occasional overtime.
