Full Time Positions for Busy Multi-Specialist Clinic, located in Burlington, NC.
Job Description:Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with office locations in Burlington, Mebane and Elon. We are currently seeking a patient-focused individual for our full time Referral Coordinator position within our Walk In Clinic Department at the Burlington location. Experience preferred. EPIC experience not required, but a preferred plus. All candidates must be graduates of an accredited MA program, and possess a current CMA certification, preferably through AAMA or AMT. BLS certification required. Schedule would be Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:
- Use double identifiers when providing direct patient care, including patient related telephone conversations to ensure right patient every time.
- Plans, provides and documents professional clinical care utilizing the clinical process, in accordance with physician/APP orders and established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the department manager.
- Collects and analyzes patient data, documents and communicates appropriately clinical actions taken and patient responses of the actions taken.
- Ensures medical records, labs, and x-rays are available for physician /APP’s review in EPIC.
- Concisely documents all patient related calls, orders and transactions in EPIC.
- Provides and explains test results as directed by physician or APP.
- Complies with OSHA, Infection Control, and Safety policies including proper use of personal protective equipment, handling and disposing of infectious or hazardous materials and demonstrates and/or describes the correct action in response to Clinic emergency codes and building evacuation.
- Participate in own professional development by maintaining required licensure, training, and competencies; Identifies learning needs and seeks appropriate assistance or educational offerings.
- Organizes time and priorities so that assigned activities are completed within designated timeframes.
- Ensures all equipment is in proper working order prior to use and contact supervisor for any malfunction.
