Operating within the healthcare industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing referrals across all Community Healthcare Centers. This role involves coordinating the completion of referrals, obtaining necessary authorizations, and assisting patients with specialist appointments as required.Responsibilities:• Manage and track the coordination of referrals made by healthcare providers across multiple sites• Obtain necessary prior authorizations to facilitate the external referral process effectively• Assist patients in coordinating specialist appointments across all sites as needed• Track outstanding referrals and request reports from specialists to ensure effective referral resolution• Notify providers of missed appointments to ensure that referrals are resolved within the established referral policy parameters• Use various software and technologies such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software for efficient operation• Handle appeals, benefit functions, billing functions, and claim administration as part of the role• Contribute to clinical trial operations as required.
