Kerrville Medical Equipment is a local family owned business that provides durable medical equipment to the community of Kerrville and all surrounding areas. We carry a wide range of products including: home oxygen, respiratory products and supplies, wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, aids to daily living, and much more. Submitted applications with experience in the medical field will be given priority.
This position requires attention to detail and a high level of communication skills. We are a fun but very busy office, so this position requires multi-tasking effectively while maintaining accuracy of work.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate to patients how to use medical equipment as needed.
Speaking with patients over the phone and inputting accurate data into our software system.
Assist with referral intake, insurance verification, medical claims billing, payment posting, and follow-up patient care.
Greet, assist and inform customers of our products and services.
Schedule deliveries and pick-ups with our technicians.
Communicate effectively with patients and professionals in clinics and hospitals.
Learn our products and be able to provide product knowledge to customers on the showroom floor.
Requirements:
Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, with a focus on excellent customer service.
Demonstrate computer literacy with the ability to learn our software system. Must have Microsoft 365 experience.
Ability to reason, problem solve, and use critical thinking skills.
Multi-task a variety of duties while maintaining a positive attitude.
Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Well-spoken and ability to communicate effectively through phone, fax, email, and face-to-face.
Motivated, self-starter preferred.
Retail/ Sales experience a plus.
Medicare and Medicaid experience a plus.
Detail oriented and extremely accurate in data entry!!

Pay: $33,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
