Job Summary :
Our client, a prominent corporate bank, is currently seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join their Loan Syndications team.
Key Responsibilities :
The AVP will be responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of syndicated loan transactions. This includes collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that all transactions meet deadlines and regulatory requirements. In addition, the AVP will manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for syndicated loan deals. This role will involve leading discussions with clients, arrangers, and co-lenders, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness throughout the entire loan process.
The candidate will also work closely with legal teams to negotiate and finalize loan documentation, ensuring that the terms and conditions align with client requirements and regulatory standards. A key part of the role will involve performing credit risk assessments, analyzing borrower creditworthiness, and working with various stakeholders to monitor the ongoing performance of syndicated loans. The AVP will also be responsible for providing updates to senior management and implementing mitigation strategies as required.
Qualifications & Experience :
The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Applicants should have at least 3-5 years of experience in Loan Syndication, Corporate Banking, or related fields. Strong knowledge and experience in syndicated loan structuring, negotiation, and documentation is essential.
