Wine Tasting Room Manager
Kerry Hill Winery is a vibrant young estate winery located in the beautiful Snake River Valley AVA. Established in 2019 we are a boutique, family-owned winery. Kerry Hill Winery has 35 acres of vineyards that are "LIVE Certified" adjacent to the winery.
We are seeking an experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our team. The position will report directly to the owner. The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for making sure our guests receive a 5-star experience each time they visit. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, has the ability to manage others, detail-oriented, trustworthy, personable, professional appearance and demeanor and have a passion for wine. This is a full-time position.

REQUIREMENTS:
Open availability (weekends/occasional holidays)
Must be 21 years or older
Proficient with POS systems; preferably, (OrderPort )
Ability to lift and move 45 pounds (a case of wine)
Be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
Have a high aptitude for sales and wine club knowledge is preferred.
Must obtain an Idaho Wine Servers Permit
Strong multi-tasking skills
A college degree is preferable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tasting room which includes but not limited to: staffing, training, cleaning, stocking, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, inventory management and sales.
Create and maintain effective employee scheduling and train staff to meet sales goals while maintaining a cohesive brand image.
Lead and train staff to meet wine club membership goals.
Conduct periodic performance reviews of employees and hold regular staff meetings.
Responsible for all inventory management tracking and loss prevention
Promotion and sales of Kerry Hill Wine Club memberships.
Ensure correct daily sales reconciliations and cash reporting.
Manage customer inquiries via phone and email.
Help with planning events at the winery including wine releases.
Represent our brand at off-site wine festivals and events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room.
