The Role / Who we are looking for :

As a Senior Business Analyst at Kerv Digital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of the Business Analysis practice across the organisation. Working closely with key stakeholders, clients, and internal teams, you will help deliver business-critical projects such as digital transformation initiatives, operational optimisations, or process automation ensuring that high-quality analysis is performed. The focus of this role will be on traditional business analysis activities. You will guide the team and clients through workshops, process improvements, and the conversion of business requirements into actionable deliverables.

Key responsibilities :

Workshop Facilitation :

  • Planning, leading and facilitating discovery workshops with new and existing clients, accommodating divergent views and differing priorities.
  • Guide stakeholders in aligning business objectives with project outcomes

Requirements elicitation & user story development :

  • Translate client requirements into well-structured user stories and incorporate them into a prioritised backlog.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure user stories are refined and development-ready.
  • Stakeholder management and Influence

  • Influencing, managing, and analysing a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
  • Building strong relations to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate the delivery of business objectives
  • Must be able to challenge stakeholders to ensure true value is achieved whether this is on customer requirements or the solution
  • Process Re-engineering

  • Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and improvements to increase operational effectiveness for clients.
  • Lead clients through business process redesign initiatives that align with their strategic goals.
  • Contributing to Strategic Business Initiatives

  • Align business analysis efforts with long-term objectives and provide insights that influence strategic decision-making
  • Documentation & Communication

  • Creating clear and effective documentation across multiple channels
  • Communicate findings, updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk Management

  • Proactively identify potential risks within business processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to devise mitigation strategies
  • Project Delivery

  • Using a hands-on approach to ensuring timescales are met
  • Mentoring & Leadership

  • Mentor junior BAs, while playing an influential role in the success of the BA practice at Kerv Digital
  • Pre Sales Support

  • Contribution to pre-sale's, bid and tender responses, ensuring appropriate business analysis activities are highlighted and factored into the formulation of project plans and solution designs.
