The Retail Attendant responsibility is to greet customers and provide guidance through our variety of coffee drinks and merchandise offered for sale.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide the guest with personal, gracious, and professional service, perceptive to their individual wants and needs.
- Provide the guest with thorough knowledge of the merchandise offered for sale.
- Translate this knowledge into creative selling techniques to promote profitability.
- Greet customers and ensure that all customers are totally satisfied.
- Determine customer needs and suggest additional merchandise to meet needs. P
- Maintain daily awareness of merchandise in stock, and current promotions.
- Promptly follow up on all special orders and special service requests.
- Professionally handle difficult customer situations and immediately involve or notify management.
- Responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of facility and follow all sanitization guidelines
- Responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and teas.
- Ensure that the back of house is clean and organized, in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Process payment properly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
KNOWLEDGE
Strong knowledge of coffee service.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to multi-task.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adaptive to the daily changes within the hotel.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Fluent English (written, spoken and reading).
Strong commitment to service.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Ability to work a variety of shifts as will involve days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
SUPERVISION
Position functions with supervision.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and / or education will be taken into consideration.
Barista experience preferred.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
TIPS Certification
Certified in CPR, First Aid AED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to go up and down staircase as well as stoop and bend.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENT
Non-Slip Shoes.
Uniform will be provided.
Employees are responsible for maintaining a clean / crisp looking uniform.
