The Grounds Crew Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of all turf areas, ensuring they are well-manicured and aesthetically pleasing. This includes tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, spraying, irrigating, dethatching, and aerating as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain turf areas by performing regular checks and implementing necessary upkeep procedures.
- Manage flower beds and planters, including planting, watering, and seasonal mulching to ensure a visually appealing environment.
- Supervise the acquisition, splitting, storage, and distribution of firewood to ensure efficient use and optimal burn quality.
- Ensure pathways are well-maintained by edging, cleaning, and sweeping gravel to prevent tripping hazards and maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor and repair irrigation systems to guarantee proper water distribution and minimize waste.
- Conduct equipment maintenance, including blade replacement, oil changes, filter cleaning, and winterization to extend the lifespan of grounds equipment.
- Supervise the grounds crew, delegating tasks and maintaining high standards of upkeep across the property to ensure exceptional quality and attention to detail.
- Perform property rounds to ensure quality, safety, and aesthetic standards are met, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
Job and Immigration Requirements:
- Citizenship from Mexico, North America, or Canada is required.
- Possess Cedula Professional on hand (not in process) with a degree in Agriculture/Agronomy or a related field.
- Possess Titulo Universitario and grades on hand (not in process) with a degree in Agriculture/Agronomy or a related field.
- Hold a valid Mexican, Canadian, or U.S. passport with at least 1.5-year validity.
- No previous immigration issues are allowed.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to relocate to the U.S. is necessary.
- 80% proficiency in English is expected.
