CNC MACHINIST 3
Machinist is responsible for supporting machine setup, production, and troubleshooting of new product. These components use a variety of materials and have tightly controlled dimensional and surface finish requirements. This position is swing shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up and operate CNC machines
- Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
- Maintain specifications by working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
- Provide feedback and support to Production Engineers to optimize machining sequences and process
- Optimize machining sequences and maintain comprehensive documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 Set-up and Operation (experience on Swiss Screw or Mill preferred)
- Experience with machining different materials (e.g. aluminum, stainless, titanium, plastics etc)
- Ability to work swing shift is required
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Low Volume/High Mix, and High Volume/Low Mix
- Experience with multi-axis Citizen CNC Swiss Screw Machines!
- Knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret blueprints.
- Eagerness to learn machining properties of materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and various plastics.
- Ability to deal with frequent changes or delays with fast-paced production
