Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff
- Performing general cleaning and sanitizing tasks in various buildings, including bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, classrooms, offices, living spaces, and common areas
- Ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
- Reporting any safety or maintenance deficiencies to the lead custodian or facilities manager
- Operating tools or equipment used in routine cleaning
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
