KEVILLE ENTERPRISES, INC., a WBE / DBE Certified Construction Management and Inspection firm specializing in providing a full spectrum of construction management and support services as an owner's representative on public and private projects, is seeking a full-time Project Controls Manager to develop and monitor construction projects in Houston, Texas. The qualified candidate must have 10 years of applicable scheduling experience. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project is required. This is an excellent opportunity to advance and grow within an organization with an experienced Project Controls group.
Duties :
Responsibilities of the position include : The scheduler will be reviewing and analyzing program schedules, monthly progress schedule updates, making recommendations to mitigate delays and completing project status reports on landside and airside projects. Responsibilities also include development of design schedules as well as development and maintenance of program level master schedules. Duties will also include attending schedule-related meetings with program / project management teams to discuss schedule issues. The scheduler will be available to attend all progress meetings for assigned projects. Other responsibilities may include : Cash Flow Forecasting, Integrated Master Schedule Development, Critical Path Management and Reporting, Resource & Cost Loaded Schedules and Progress Curve Development, Look Ahead Schedules, and Development of Monthly Status Reports.
Qualifications :
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. PE, CCM, PSP or PMI certifications desired.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Construction or Construction Management required with a focus on scheduling.
- Proficiency with software "Primavera P6" is a must.
- Heavy Civil Construction experience is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of and experience in construction scheduling, program scheduling, and cost & resource loading required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Word, and skilled at performing data evaluation, formulas and metrics in Excel.
