The Gift Shop Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the Gift Shop, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. Under the direction of the General Manager, this position is responsible for supervisory and administrative work, as well as providing exceptional customer service to all customers.
- This includes developing and managing budgets, evaluating and purchasing merchandise, maintaining inventory levels, and preparing monthly reports.
- The Gift Shop Manager also meets with vendors, works with the Marketing Department on promotional needs, and changes displays regularly to meet buying audience and seasonal demands.
- Additionally, this role involves interviewing and selecting sales personnel, providing on-the-job training, monitoring pricing, and maintaining records.
As a key member of the Kewadin Casinos team, the Gift Shop Manager must ensure that team members work to meet or exceed all customer service standards. This requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work under pressure.
