What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Behavior Technician position at Key Behavior Services?
Lead Behavior Technicians at Key Behavior Services have the opportunity to participate in free group supervision with other candidates working towards certification in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. This position allows candidates to accrue unrestricted hours and meet eligibility requirements as outlined by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board in a manner that sets them up for success as a future professional behavior analyst.
Position Overview:
- Represent KBS professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct Skills acquisition, social skills and functional assessments under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Implementation of behavior intervention plans and treatment plans
- Training new staff members on client programs
- Providing additional support at staff trainings to the leadership team
- Updating client programs using tools as needed, including online software programs
- Providing feedback to staff members in a constructive manner
- Reporting to the leadership team and Clinical team regarding needs for materials or updated programs
- Creating materials for client programs as needed
- Help write or create progress reports and other treatment plan components
- Providing general training to new hires and caregivers
- Identifying trends in behavior and other data analysis as needed for client programming
- Demonstrating appropriate communication, collaboration and professionalism

Requirements:
- Registered Behavior Technician
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong preference for those who are pursuing graduate coursework and credentialing to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from client homes and work at other locations
- The ability to lift 25 pounds routinely
- Regular and timely communication with supervisors
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
Note: This position may require additional training or certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
