Position Summary / Overview :

Key Concepts Knowledgebase, LLC., is searching for a Power-BI Developer to join our dynamic team. This person will be responsible for developing Power-BI reports using the latest data visualization tools, technologies, and their dashboard development experiences. The suitable candidate must have strong SQL database knowledge / experience, Power-BI Dashboard development / analytical reporting skills, good project management and communication skills, competent with Microsoft office applications suite, be able to develop SOPs and recommend changes to legacy SQL databases for Dashboard / Reports development.

The Power-BI Developer responsibilities are as follows :

• Interact with stakeholders : Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop Power-BI solutions : Create reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI, SQL databases, and / or Excell spreadsheets.
• Data integration : Integrate Power BI reports into other applications for enhanced business capabilities.
• Custom visualizations : Develop custom visualizations and ensure data availability, security and accuracy.
• Advanced calculations : Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations.
• Testing and troubleshooting : Ensure the functionality and accuracy of formulas and visualizations information.
• Documentation : Document processes and methodologies used in the development process of solutions.
• Analysis : Evaluate existing SQL databases and make recommendations for reporting improvements.
• Requirements Gathering : Analyze requirements of client's needs, SQL databases and reporting objectives to get the appropriate data points for reporting development.
• Project Management : Use the Agile framework to run projects and keep track of schedules.
• Design solutions : Create data models and dashboards that make complex data easy to understand, interpret and act on.
• Develop reports : Create automated reports and dashboards that provide business insights.
• Communicate insights : Share insights with the business to improve decision-making.
• Train and support : Provide training and support to help end-users get up to speed with Power-BI dashboards.
