Treatment/Financial Coordinator – Key Dental
Location: Brownsville, TX

Work Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
Key Dental is seeking a confident and compassionate Treatment/Financial Coordinator to help guide patients through their care with clarity and trust.
This is a key front office role focused on patient education, financial coordination, and treatment scheduling. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients make informed decisions about their oral health.
Position Overview
The Treatment/Financial Coordinator serves as a bridge between clinical care and financial understanding. This role involves presenting treatment plans, verifying benefits, outlining payment options, and ensuring patients are supported from case acceptance through completion.
Primary Responsibilities
Patient Communication
- Educate patients on recommended treatment, procedures, and insurance coverage
- Answer questions and explain treatment timelines and financial details
- Build trust and support patients in confidently accepting their care
Case Presentation
- Present treatment plans with clarity using x-rays, photos, and digital scans
- Explain clinical value and necessity of treatment plans
- Support high case acceptance through a transparent and professional presentation
Financial Coordination
- Review treatment costs and outline patient responsibility
- Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations and third-party financing
- Collect down payments, manage payment plans, and ensure financial accuracy
Treatment Scheduling
- Schedule accepted treatment promptly and efficiently
- Ensure provider calendars align with patient needs and clinical capacity
- Maintain a pending treatment list to follow up on incomplete or postponed care
Secondary Responsibilities
Appointment Scheduling
- Confirm and manage hygiene, exam, and treatment appointments
- Resolve schedule gaps and last-minute cancellations
Insurance Verification & Data Entry
- Verify eligibility and benefit breakdowns for all scheduled patients
- Enter accurate plan details and assign insurance to the correct subscriber in Open Dental

Qualifications
- 1 year experience in sales experience
