What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service position at Key Kleaning Service Inc?
Key Storage is a local storage facility and we need a part time front desk/ customer service representative. The hours will be Monday- Friday from 3:30 pm to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. This position will be perfect for college students and/or retirees looking for extra income.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Opening facility
- Maintaining efficient and friendly communication with customers
- Maintaining a clean and professional office and facility
- Leasing selfstorage space. This includes executing lease agreements and collecting initial rental fees.
- Keeping all files (computer and manual) organized and up to date.
- Answering phones and return applicable messages.
- Following up with customers regarding delinquent balances.
- Assisting customer with lock issues and lift issues.
- Close facility, including financial reconciliation of petty cash and other monetary receipts from that day.
- Keeping store merchandise filled and organized.
- Conducting daily lock checks of all rented self storage units.
- Ensuring that all vacant units are vacated from the computer in a timely manner and are swept out to be ready for the next tenant.
- Must be able to walk up the stairs, lift bay doors and assist with deliveries.
- Other duties assigned.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Customer Service experience required
- Previous selfstorage experience a plus
Computer Skills:
- General computer skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus
