Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses as defined by the American Psychiatric Association, routine and emergency evaluation and assessment, psychiatric medications, human development, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Additionally, you should demonstrate competency in procedures regarding medical treatment, medication management, laboratory tests, and other medical practices and procedures relevant to the psychiatric needs of the patient population.
