Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Safety Manager to join our team at Key Resource Group, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and direction for training activities.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Hazmat training and experience developing and leading a training curriculum. You will also possess knowledge of OSHA regulations and Department of Energy policies and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS) with guiding principles
- Lead training department in external audits and inspections (OSHA, PRE-OP, CSI, EPA)
- Provide oversight of course and video libraries, department change management systems, and budget and personal certification program
- Monitor and assess effectiveness of training programs, continuously updating as needed
- Partner with both individuals and groups both internal and external on safety development and plans
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that follows established practices while identifying and reporting situations and concerns
- Lead, mentor and support training staff
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and certifications
