What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Key Resource Group, LLC?
KRG has partnered with a well-known WNY employer in need of a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a full-time role responsible for performing and coordinating high level financial and operational analysis and special projects.
Duties include
- Monitoring and administering accounting for grants, including working with grant administrators to assure timely and appropriate filing and reporting
- Reviewing clinical trial protocols to determine services utilized and appropriate financial reporting and billing
- Assisting in the preparation and completion of medical education surveys and physician time studies as required by federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance with filing requirements
- Preparing, analyzing and reviewing monthly third-party reserves and allowances
- Reviewing bad debt reserves and historical bad debt write-offs
- Analyzing receivables for valuation purposes and identifying process issues and opportunities
- Monitoring third-party payor payments to support negotiations and identify billing or payment issues
- Monitoring and analyzing monthly departmental actual to budget variance reports
- Preparing profitability analyses and supporting decision support initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 6 years of accounting, reimbursement, budgeting and/or grant experience 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of accounting, reimbursement and budgeting principles and procedures
- Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and policies as they relate to financial operations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Salary : $89,250 - $120,750
