Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Training Manager to lead our training department in providing effective leadership and direction for training activities. The successful candidate will have expertise in Hazmat and be able to implement and maintain Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS) with guiding principles.
About the Role:
- Lead training department in external audits and inspections (OSHA, PRE-OP, CSI, EPA)
- Provide oversight of course and video libraries, department change management systems, and budget and personal certification program
- Monitor and assess effectiveness of training programs, continuously updating as needed
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that follows established practices while identifying and reporting situations and concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Environmental Safety and Health, Science or related field
- Hazmat background and training experience
- Experience developing and leading a training curriculum Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of Dept of Energy & Dept of Transportation policies and requirements
