Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for picking, consolidating, and staging raw material inventory according to the direction of the production coordinator. This role requires attention to detail, ability to follow processes and procedures, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and stage material under the direction of the production coordinator.
- Organize and consolidate racks.
- Communicate inventory issues.
- Complete the material movement sheet and transact in Navision.
- Examine package for damage.
- Ensure quantities on pack list are accurate.
Requirements
- Preferred forklift certification - sit down or cherry picker.
- Must speak, read and write in English.
- Must be able to stand for full eight hour shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
