📍 Location: Baltimore, MD | Full-Time
Do you have a passion for preserving historic architecture? We are seeking a Historic Preservation Architect to join a nationally recognized architecture and engineering consultancy. This role offers the chance to work on historic rehabilitation, restoration, adaptive reuse, and condition assessments within State and National Register-listed buildings and districts
💡 What You’ll Do:
✔️ Lead historic preservation projects, including rehabilitation and restoration.
✔️ Ensure compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards.
✔️ Conduct condition assessments and develop restoration strategies.
✔️ Manage project teams and oversee construction documentation.
✔️ Collaborate with clients, State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and multidisciplinary teams.
✔️ Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Illustrator, and Photoshop for design presentations.
🎯 What You’ll Need:
✅ 10–20 years of experience in historic preservation and architectural design.
✅ Licensed Architect (or working towards licensure) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture.
✅ Strong familiarity with historic preservation standards and review processes.
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
✅ Excellent communication and project management skills.
✅ U.S. Citizenship required.
