Nursing Director

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Duties

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee the delivery of resident care, including creating and updating care plans
• Manage nursing staff schedules and assignments
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure holistic resident care
• Conduct regular audits to maintain quality assurance
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration specially in ICU /CCU
• 1 Minimum three years in healthcare management
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare management or related field, required. Minimum of five years of clinical experience in ICU/CCU; will consider other applicable clinical areas in lieu of direct ICU/CCU experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home, hospice care, and home care practices
• Proficiency in MDS assessments and care planning
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident rights
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage shifts effectively
• Current AHA BLS required; ACLS within 60 days of hire. Specialty certification, preferred.

Pay: $119,779.00 - $144,365.00 per year
