IT Lead Business Analyst

The Technical Lead Business Analyst role will join the Wire and Real Time Payments agile squad. There will be some involvement in production support activities and ensuring there are zero critical and high incidents with our payment's platform. They will need to have 5 years business and analytical knowledge of Fedwire, Swift and TCH (real time payments), and specifically the ISO 20022 XML format. This role requires them to work with 30 interfacing applications for testing and coordination of changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works effectively and individually with Technical and Non-Technical team members.
• Shares similar mentality as existing team members toward customer satisfaction and success.
• Oversees, and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on enterprise level project with minimal direction from management.
• Able to effectively facilitate meetings, demonstrate brainstorming / consensus building skills, and interact with project sponsors from the line of business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Demonstrates the ability to effectively prepare and maintain the following documents / tools:
  • Business process flow
  • Architecture and design best practices
  • Requirements (business, functional, and technical)
  • Executive summaries
  • Project plans
• Demonstrates the following leadership skills:
  • Works within deadlines for project team members
  • Monitors progress and follows-up.
  • Provides respectful feedback and escalates where necessary.
  • Analyzes/Identifies areas of risk and develops plans to minimize.
• Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
• Seeks opportunities to develop professional skills.
• Experience working with developers.
• Basic understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, C#, etc.)
• Data Models
• Technical Background / Degree Program preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or similar experience in a related technology area.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $94,000 to $175,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
