**Job Title: Purchaser**
We are actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchaser at our Lakeland manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating requisitions for the procurement of parts, equipment, supplies, and services for the plant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process orders using computer-based order management tools.
- Utilize supply chain knowledge to manage parts inventory effectively.
- Oversee supplier relationships and ensure timely sourcing of required parts.
- Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Maintain attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills required.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- 2 years of experience conducting purchasing and inventory.
