Business Systems Analyst – Financial Systems [Local Only]

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in financial systems to join our client’s team. This role will focus primarily on financial operations such as ACH, Wire Transfers, Payments, AP/AR, and more. Candidates with a background in banking or financial services are strongly preferred. While Workday experience is a plus, the focus will be on solid financial systems knowledge and technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, focusing on financial processes like ACH, wire transfers, payment systems, and AP/AR.
• Analyze and optimize current financial workflows, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to configure and implement technical solutions for financial operations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionalities and ensure seamless business integration.
• Support data migration efforts, ensuring smooth transition of financial data.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor financial metrics, ensuring that systems and processes run efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in financial systems, including ACH, Wire Transfers, Payments, and AP/AR.
• Familiarity with banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to liaise between business and technical teams.
• Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for financial systems.
• Strong experience with system integrations and data migration.
• Familiarity with Workday or similar platforms is a plus but not a requirement.
