Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to drive end-to-end requirements engineering for a financial system project. The ideal candidate will partner with the Product Owner (PO) to build out the roadmap and ensure effective requirements gathering, focusing on solving business problems with innovative solutions. This role requires strong knowledge of financial systems, including accounting, GL, reconciliation, and Wire Transfer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end requirements process, ensuring clarity from business needs to system requirements.
- Collaborate with the PO to develop the roadmap and align it with the IT environment, resources, and tools.
- Engage with end users to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Drive improvements in the requirement intake process, ensuring no delays or confusion in gathering necessary information.
- Develop user stories and detailed documentation to support system changes and enhancements.
Must-Have Skills:
- Financial systems knowledge: Accounting, GL, reconciliation, and Wire Transfer systems.
- Experience in requirement engineering, including gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
- Ability to work independently and think outside the box to provide solutions.
- Strong understanding of roadmap development and working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders and end users effectively.
