Warehouse Clerk in Round Rock, TX 78665
Pay : 21 / hr
Perks :Schedule : M-F 8am-5pm Training
12pm to 12 am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Track and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Inspect incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders, and ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that items are correctly matched to customer orders and packed securely.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, ensuring products are stored in the correct locations for easy access and inventory control.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, and prepare goods for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping instructions.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and ensure the safe handling of goods, including the proper use of equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or shipments, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or inventory management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software or systems.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions (if applicable).
