Payroll Processor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner, including special payouts such as incentives, bonuses, gifts, etc.
- Maintain and update ADP WFN: Rate Changes; Review and approve W4, address, name, and direct deposit changes; Run reports
- Update and maintain payroll batch data
- Import, update, and audit payroll adjacent items such as HSA and FSA funding, and 401k contributions
- Review payroll registers for accuracy
- Monitor the Payroll team inbox to communicate with employees and agency partners to resolve issues and address/answer questions
- Support Human Resources with importing and maintaining employee files and payroll information
- Assist in integrating newly acquired agencies into payroll, ensuring accurate pay-runs and reporting post-close
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of payroll experience required, with a focus on creating and importing payroll batch data, bonuses, and commissions preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll
- Familiarity with post-payroll processes such as remitting 401k and HSA funds through import
- Experience with local earned income tax, knowledge of PA or OH preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with ADP WFN, SmartCompliance, and iReports; will consider other payroll software experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Demonstrated ability to treat confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (Remote – 1 day per week)
