Coral Reef, an affiliated company of Keystone Clearwater Solutions, is currently looking for a Financial Controller in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial processes, and experience in construction/solar accounting. This is a key position within the company and will require strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close accurately and promptly, adhering to financial reporting deadlines.
- Provide weekly/monthly financial reports for the management team.
- Invoicing customers and managing accounts receivable.
- File monthly/quarterly sales tax returns.
- Support Project Managers and Operational staff by responding to financial questions and concerns in a collaborative manner.
- Assist with monthly forecast and annual budget preparation.
- Develop and maintain detailed cash flow models to ensure liquidity and financial health.
- Enhance and develop processes and procedures for the finance team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 5 years in financial management or controller role responsible for oversight of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial planning/reporting.
- Experience in construction/solar accounting including progressive billing, WIP and job costing.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and problem solve.
- Experience in the manipulation and analysis of statistical data from large, computerized information.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Understanding of sales and use tax laws in multiple states.
