Education/Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, or combined experience
· Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Human Resources Manager and or Director capacity
· PHR certification preferred
· Organized with exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and Word
· Comprehensive understanding of human resources
· Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing human resource programs, processes, and policies
· Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
· Able to work independently on a broad variety of projects, exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations
· Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships

Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Work with leadership to resolve employee relations issues, including development of documentation, counseling with employees and management of ongoing performance expectations
· Partner with corporate and regional management teams to provide value-added human resources support of regional and corporate business objectives
· Provide support and guidance to managers on employment processes, procedures, policies, and best practices
· Answer employee questions related to pay, benefits, PTO and resolves any issues
· Assist with annual benefits open enrollment planning and meetings
· Coordinate FMLA, disability and workers compensation leaves of absence. Provide accurate and timely information and interpretation of related policies and regulations to managers and employees
· Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the organization
· Conduct terminations of employment as needed
· Assess training needs of regional staff, conduct, or coordinate for appropriate internal training and provide recommendations for external training
· Lead regional wellness activities, including development of on-site programming in support of company’s wellness initiatives
· Responsible for the accurate maintenance and proper retention of payroll files, personnel files, and benefit files to ensure confidentiality and retention rules are followed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage subordinate employees or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
