POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Post Close Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the mortgage loan post-closing process by reviewing loan documents for compliance, completeness, and accuracy. The position will obtain missing information, prepare files, and provide support to internal and external customers. The Post Close Coordinator will deliver loan packages to investors to ensure loans are purchased in a timely manner. The Post Close Coordinator will be responsible for insuring the mortgage loan(s) with the government agencies (FHA, VA, USDA) paying the upfront mortgage insurance as well as activating Mortgage Insurance as may be required. The Post Close Coordinator will assist with follow up of trailing document inquiries from investors and delivering the same to the investors. The Post Close Coordinator assists with obtaining verbal verifications of employment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Those contained in this Agreement including all Addendums, or in the manuals, guides, memoranda, job descriptions emails and other materials that set forth KFI Policies, and
- Receive requests from investors for trailing documents: research, track and deliver missing documents
- Input data into investor delivery system
- Prepare files for Government Insuring and Pay Upfront mortgage insurance
- Activate Private Mortgage Insurance and deliver QC package to Insurance Company
- Support Post Closing Team: o Follow-up with title to correct errors and omissions in closing documents o Transmit and/or deliver files to investors by lock deadlines o Transmit and/or deliver files to sub-service o Adhere to FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and other investor delivery policies and procedures o MERS registrations and transfer to investors o Obtain verbal verifications of employment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and a demonstrated ability to support multiple initiatives concurrently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
