Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR functions and be responsible for overseeing various HR activities within the organization. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:
· Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and universities.
· Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve conflicts through effective mediation.
- Promote a positive work environment and culture.
· Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
- Assist managers with setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
· Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
- Work with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
· Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
· HR Strategy and Development:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives.
· Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics such as compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Support career development and succession planning efforts.
· Compensation and Payroll:
- Assist in developing and implementing compensation strategies.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive compensation packages.
· HR Systems and Technology:
- Manage and optimize HR information systems (HRIS).
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
