We are seeking Program Specialists to partner with people with disabilities and help build relationships and develop skills to live and work as valued members of their community.
Program Specialist Responsibilities:
- Create a healthy, engaging living environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans
- Support team members in addressing behavioral and clinical concerns
- Work with the team to implement person-centered programs for each individual
- Coordinate teaching and skill development for individuals and team members
- Ensure compliance with licensing, federal, state, and local regulations, as well as health and safety policies
- Support individuals to become independent, make decisions, and live a meaningful, dignified life with valued social roles (e.g., friend, neighbor, student, employee)
Job Details:

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Experience with Positive Behavior Supports and/or Applied Behavior Analysis
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing and to read, interpret, and apply written information
- Ability to learn and apply intermediate computer skills, including software and web-based systems
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including background checks, FBI clearance, MVR, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), and drug testing
