Keystone Mills is a family-owned regional feed manufacturer. We are committed to meeting the nutritional needs of dairy, swine, poultry, beef, horse, sheep, and goat producers. Our facilities, ingredients, and nutritional expertise enable us to provide a wide variety of standard and custom bulk and bag feeds. We offer conventional and organic feeds that are specially formulated to meet the individual needs of our customer’s farms. Keystone Mills operates our fleet under Double M Transport and provide delivery services to our customers for their orders.
Position Overview:
Our company is looking for an entry-level, detail-oriented, and committed individual to fill a Customer Service Office Assistant position. This position will be located at our Fort Plain store and will handle processing all incoming orders and invoices for the store. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire administrative assistance experience and learn new skills. The hours for this position will be set for Monday-Wednesday from 9:00am-4:30pm. There is potential for temporary hours to be Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm, if the candidate would like additional hours.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform routine administrative functions including filing and data entry.
· Assist with Customer Service including answering phones, taking customer orders, and helping walk-in customers.
· Assist with order entry.
· Assist with invoicing when needed.
· Assist with general office needs, other duties as assigned.
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to scan and file electronic documents with accuracy.
· Attention to detail and accuracy (ie: able to perform repetitive tasks such as entering customer orders and deposits into accounting system with minimal errors)
· Positive & professional attitude
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work well independently but also in a team setting and able to get along well with
others
Preferred Experience:
· Experience working with computers
· Previous experience with data entry
