We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, leave of absence requests, and benefits inquiries.
- Partner with the Management Team to resolve issue, implement new initiatives, and grow the business.
- Stay up to date on local, state, and federal employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, and coordinating background screenings.
- Maintain and update the HRIS database, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with certification requirements.
- Digitize employee records and manage paperless HR files.
- In conjunction with the Training Department, coordinate new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Communicate information clearly and professionally to engage employees and management.
- Travel to the Eastern Shore locations on a regular basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn new HR software.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Basic understanding of financial and business principles.
- Experience with ADP, HRIS integrated databases, and automated onboarding programs.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of the EMS Industry a Plus .
