Job Overview:
Keystone Siteworks is looking for a seasoned Foreman to lead our pipe and site crews on commercial excavation and utility projects throughout the Lehigh Valley. We specialize in underground utility installation — stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water main systems — along with full-service site preparation.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage crews, maintain productivity, and uphold quality and safety standards in the field. If you’re experienced, take pride in clean, efficient work, and can run a crew without babysitting — we want you on our team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise site and utility crews on active job sites
- Communicate effectively to Office Personnel and Company Leadership
- Read and interpret construction drawings, pipe profiles, and site layouts
- Oversee the installation of storm, sewer, and water utility systems
- Ensure all trenching, bedding, backfill, and pipe work meets spec
- Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA protocols
- Coordinate daily tasks and schedules with project managers
- Track crew hours, equipment needs, and material usage
- Troubleshoot site challenges and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Operate equipment as needed to support the team
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and site organization
Additional Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in excavation, site work, and underground utility installation (storm, sewer, water)
- 2 years in a leadership or foreman role, managing crews on active construction sites
- Strong understanding of site grading, trench safety, and compaction standards
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, utility plans, and site drawings
- Familiar with laser levels, trench boxes, GPS layout tools, and related equipment
- Excellent communication skills — able to lead a team, coordinate with project managers, and speak with clients or inspectors professionally
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to enforce jobsite safety
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong time management
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in the field and adapt on the fly
- Willingness to operate machinery when necessary (excavator, loader, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
