These positions include tutoring, mentoring, and other summer activities for students attending the Iroquois School District. Keystone SMILES is a nonprofit located in Knox which provides summer AmeriCorps (work) opportunities for schools and nonprofits helping to address unmet needs with academic support for a fun summer.
AmeriCorps is a national service movement that engages thousands of men and women of all ages and backgrounds in service often referred to as the domestic Peace Corps, aimed at meeting the needs in the areas of Education, Public Safety, Environment, and Human Services.
Schedule: Monday – Friday - Full Time, Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours)
AmeriCorps Positions and Benefits -

- Education Award - $1,956.35
- Total Living Allowance - $5,796.00
Accepted applicants will participate in a two-day pre-service orientation their first and second day of service via virtual training.
