Job Purpose:

Manages total quality programs, policies, and initiatives. Responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service. This position will continuously evaluate new and existing processes, driving the quality program, resolving quality issues to closure in a timely manner, manage the corrective action program, work hand in hand with operations and Leadership teams providing technical assistance and assessing quality controls. This role will support the lean manufacturing strategy to make process improvements, maintain and/or improve quality and reduce overall costs. Work cross functionally in the development and or maintenance of products or services. This position is involved in resolving the materials, equipment, and process related production issues, including materials and method validation as well as statistical analysis and metrics to analyze those systems and processes being measured.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the appointed management representative for all licensor and customer requirements. 
• Continually work with operations to improve performance, implement process control and quality plans.
• Interact routinely with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, and other stake holders to proactively improve the quality of components and finished goods.
• Analyze operational capabilities, develop, and maintain quality performance metrics. 
• Perform/oversee quality management system audits and provide support for areas in need of continuous improvement. 
• Oversee HSE program and implement techniques to ensure employee safety to support operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, and customer/end user requirements.
• Prior experience in areas of quality assurance and control and/or HSE such as: Lean/Six Sigma, incoming material inspections, process controls, systems performance, product evaluation, metrology or testing requirements.
• Problem solving skills to apply methods for RCA (Root Cause Analysis). Understanding of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis).
• Knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes and required error proofing as needed to provide flawless quality, including supplier audit requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO, API (Q1, 6D, 6A), ASME, ASTM, ASNT, etc.
• May include some travel (5-15%).

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working within domestic and international teams (local and offsite) 
• Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a competitive advantage. 
• High mix, low volume manufacturing experience in QA/QC management position.
• Ability to develop positive, long-lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, & KFV teams at all levels and locations. 
• Proven successful track record in a leadership role. 
• Advance skills with the use of Excel, Power Point and ERP systems.
• Ability to understand the basic mechanical properties and function of company products. 
• Ability to compare actual material test reports with engineering specifications and determine acceptability. 

Working Conditions:

• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Physical Requirements:

• Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
