Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Washington, DC. Duties Include:
- Accountant will manage and oversee accounting operations for the international division, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for international operations
- Maintain and update QuickBooks records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Monitor and manage foreign currency transactions, including exchange rate fluctuations and their impact on financial reporting
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures for international operations
- As an Accountant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support international business initiatives and projects
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes for international entities
- Stay updated on changes in international financial regulations and standards
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
