Kforce has a client that is seeking a Back-End Java Developer in Holyoke, MA. Primary Responsibilities:
- Back-End Development (Java & Integration)
- Develop and maintain Java-based Back-End applications; Implement RESTful APIs and integrate Oracle SQL databases with Java applications; Work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC for database connectivity
- Work closely with front-end developers, project team
- Document workflows; Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration with databases
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions)
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC) for Back-End development
- Must Work Hybrid from the Holyoke, MA location 2-3 days a week
